Hello,

I´m searching all resources related with interlanguage studies in order to write mu future thesis because I´m starting my master. I found it interesting and I like the way the explanations are made. It is useful that this information is available on the net, I´m from venezuela, if there is more info I´ll apreciate it.

Hi,
I googled 'fossilization' in order to get a better grasp of it for a graduate class I am taking. It helped--nice explanations. Sometimes the textbooks get a bit wordy and abstact. I like the comparison with a company.
Thanks for shedding light in a shady area.

Hi Alex,
Your topic "interlanguage and fossilization" really interests me. Obviously, I googled and your article surfaced for me to read. I think your idea is very valid. In linguistic studies, you will find many research results agree with your point point of view. In fact, I am researching more specific areas about this topic "interlanguage and fossilization." As a second language learner, I have experienced the same thing as you described above. As a native Korean speaker, I have article problems (a/the), tenses, and some sounds such as f,v, th, and z among other grammatical properties and phonetic sounds. I really think that the first language affects second language learning. Thanks for your article.

Eddie,

Thank you for the comment. Interesting that this article gets there in the searches for language learning. I think my other articles on the blog would be more suitable.

In fact, I have <a href="http://blog.outerthoughts.com/category/language-acquisition/" rel="nofollow">a full category of posts about language learning</a>.

Since you asked. I was searching for effective ways / interesting ways / diverse ways to learn German language. Just so that I can keep up my interest and learn the language faster.
well, your write up does not necessary fall in that category but I found it intersting nonetheless.
