Using library without worry of overdue fees with LibraryElf

Both my wife and I borrow a lot of books from the library (great NYPL), but even with the generous renewal policies, sometimes the books get lost between two cards and we get overdue fines.

So, I was very glad to find a link to [Both my wife and I borrow a lot of books from the library (great NYPL), but even with the generous renewal policies, sometimes the books get lost between two cards and we get overdue fines.

So, I was very glad to find a link to]2 (via ** LibraryStuff**), which will take your library cards and track them for you with email and RSS reminders of books about to be overdue, on hold, etc. And it tracks multiple libraries, so check if it has yours.

This is yet another well targeted service to make life easier. Now, (seconding LibraryStuff’s idea) if we could do a one click connection from LibraryElf to the LibraryThing or another similar system, this service would become an even more important research central.
